Kylee's new chew & Road Trip to DE!

Here is the latest video of Kylee's new chew. She has a difficult time showing it off in front of others, but when it is just us three and we ask her to chew she always does it for us. We are teaching her a bad habit...smacking, but is just so CUTE as of now...will have to break the habit later!!!!

On Thursday morning we left for our road trip to DE for one of my little sister's (Psycho Jr we call her, because I was known as Psycho in college) from the sorority from college. She and her fiance have been together for a really long time just like Will and I had and this wedding was a long time coming. So Thursday morning we left for Virginia. It was a rough ride to VA, but we made it. We visited some of Will's family and had a great short visit. This is a picture of Aunt Donna, Uncle Richard, Cousin Alan & Beth. Kylee was focused in on something else besides the camera, but still a good pic.

She also liked her cousin Mac's green frog chair! You can also see her two litttle teethers coming through on the bottom. No top ones yet, but it feels like one is going to pop through soon!

Friday morning we took off for DE. This was another rough trip for Kylee, but not as bad as Thursday was so I really started to dread our trip home on Sunday because that was going to be the longest of all! So we made it to DE and went to John & Heather's wedding on Saturday. It was a beautiful wedding and we had a great time. We had to leave after dinner because it was already 8:30 and Kylee was struggling, but she did great for the most part!!!!

Kylee got to bed about 9:15 on Saturday night, which most of you know is a really late night for her, her normal bedtime is 6:30-7:00. So I was for sure she would sleep atleast until 7:30 Sunday morning before we left to come back to NC. But we were fooled...at 6:00AM she was bright eyed and bushy taled. I guess from her just being so exhausted and her schedule messed up all weekend because we all know I am a little ANAL about her schedule! When she woke up we just decided to go ahead and take off since this was what I thought going to be a rough 6 - 7 hour trip back home. BOY, was I wrong!!! Kylee was an ANGEL the whole way home. She slept off and on and didn't cry one time I guess she was just so exhausted! We made it home about 1:45 Sunday afternoon with only one stop to eat a late breakfast. It was a nice trip, but great to be back home. I think Kylee was pretty relieved to take a nap in her crib when we got back!!! I laid her down to nap at 3:00 and she is still napping now at 4:30!

New Blog

So I have put off making a blog long enough. With Kylee new recent mode of transportation a lot of you have not seen her new scoot or the video unless you have facebook so I thought it was finally time to make a blog! It may take me a little while to figure all this out but we will figure it out as we go.

So below is a video of Kylee and her new transportation. She is getting really fast and we have already had to baby proof. Sometimes she acts like she is going to get on her knees, but right now she is just using her one leg to push and dragging the other one along. As most of you know this is a big relief for me as I have been really stressing about it the past couple of months. She just really wanted to take her time and stress me out as well. I am now still appreciating the fact that she hasn't figured out how to go from sitting to tummy to move around. That is only a matter of time.

Also this past weekend we had some visitors. Kylee's cousin, Keith came to visit. We had a lot of fun. We didn't get a lot of good pictures because both of them liked to be on the move, but here is one from the photo session we were having. I had none where they are looking at the camera. Oh well, Keith did so well with her and giving her lots of love.

Kylee's also had a blast at the pool with Keith, Aunt Amy and Uncle Brian. On our way home she had lots of sunscreen in her hair so we decided on a new do and this is what we came up with.

Will also celebrated his first Father's Day this weekend, well Friday. I couldn't hold his gift back any longer. He made a joke last week that Kylee and I were buying him a 4-wheeler and it was coming from that store. And I replied "No actually it came from the Dollar General." So all week he was really thinking he was getting something from there. But actually, I took Kylee and had her picture made in her Virginia cheerleading outfit (thanks to Robbie for finding this for us). We also had one made of the both of us that is really cute as well. She also had a picture made in her camo bibs that say "Daddy's little Deer." He was so excited and surprised to see these. I really think it made his day. Below is one of the pictures, sorry it is a little blurry I had to scan it in.

Here is a picture of Kylee on Father's Day in her little rocking chair that she loves. She is now 9 months old and we can't believe it. Her 1st birthday is right around the corner.

Add this blog to your favorites so you can check in on us periodically. I will probably just do this from now on instead of sending out monthly emails. So make sure you add it.
