Kolton decided to eat out of his baby food jar on Friday night! He had a great time exploring in a new manner.

On Saturday I ran my first 5K race for a great organization, Special Olympics all in honor of Miss. Sabrina! Brooke and Lisa joined me as well. It was a great experience and can't wait for my next race. My first race I finished in 36 minutes and 14 seconds, so that means I have to work to beat that time for the next race.

Happy Half

Kolton will be 6 months on Tuesday! Half way to ONE...NO WAY!! Kolton is working so hard on sitting up. He is able to sit up for a few minutes with his boppy behind him and then falls over. He can officially roll over both ways although he doesn't always want to show off his skills. He is eating all kinds of baby food. He loves his fruit and will eat most of his veggies. He does not like the thick veggies and will gag..AKA, peas, garden vegetables and corn casserole. We have had a few gagging episodes, which have scared us a few times, but when we smooth it out with a little water or fruit he does just fine. Kylee didn't gag on any of her foods, so this has been a new experience.

Kolton went for his 6 month pictures yesterday and did so GOOD. If you haven't seen them there is a link on my facebook page.

Here are a few pictures from this week as we were getting Kylee ready for bed. They were so cute together. He looks like a little baby doll laying there.

Another prayer request this week: My cousin Beth had surgery a little over a week ago. She went home doing well and then things took a turn real quick. She went back to the hospital because things were not going well where they realized her blood pressure was really low and her kidneys were failing. They went back in where they had done the surgery and everything had came undone and her bowels were leaking out. At this time she is in ICU and is continuing to fight, but needs many prayers for strength, comfort, recovery, and medical wisdom! PLEASE lift her up in your prayers for her and the many doctors and nurses caring for her, as well as her son Justin and the other family there with her.

Circus & My Valentines

On Thursday, we took Kylee & Kolton to their 1st Barnum & Bailey Circus. I think Kolton enjoyed it just as much as Kylee did. He finally fell asleep the last 10-15 minutes. Kylee's favorite part were the elephants and Kolton really enjoyed tracking all the lights and bright objects. Cousin McKenna and Camden were there with us too.

Kolton is working hard on sitting up on his on. Friday I sat him in front of his little mirror karaoke machine and Kylee enjoyed showing him how everything worked and showing him all the motions to the songs.

I never knew I would have 3 Valentines that have every single piece of my heart! Will has had my heart since July of 1999, but I don't think we both thought we could love our children as much as we do. I knew I would love my children, but until we had them that love is just SOOO unconditional. There is probably only more other person that loves them more than us and that would be Jesus!!!  Here are my 3 Valentines...

Special Prayer Request: I have a sorority sister who is without her Valentine this week. Her husband passed on Saturday morning after a brief illness, which is unknown at this point. She is also 6 months pregnant with their first child. I can't even begin to imagine what Sarah is going through. Please lift her and her baby boy up in your prayers as she has many difficult days and months ahead of her. We don't always know why, but we do know that it is all in God's hands and can only have faith in Him to get us through our most difficult and trying situations.

ROLLY ROLLY

We have a rolly man on our hands, except he won't show us. He has shown off his skills multiple times at Mrs.Steph's, but will just roll to his side or mostly over here at home then fall back. I have a video from Friday night of him almost rolling from back to belly, but OF COURSE the computer/internet does not want to cooperate for it to load, so I will have to try again at a later date. Sorry :-(

Kolton LOVES Kylee and watching her every move. Here they are on the bed on Friday night playing. She LOVES him to death as well.

On Saturday Kylee and I went to visit the newest member of the Sams family! Miss. Eliza was born in December and Kylee also enjoyed playing with Addie. Here are Kylee and Addie together.

We also went to celebrate the soon to be new addition to the Bradshaw family! Candace had a baby shower on Saturday afternoon so Kylee and I went to shower Mrs. Candace with baby gifts. We can't wait to meet Mr. Braxton hopefully in the next few weeks. :-)
