WATER LOGGED

This past Wednesday we took off to the beach for family vacation with MawMaw, PaPa, Uncle Brother, Aunt Brooke, McKenna & Camden. We had a great time but came home with tired kiddos!!! Thanks to MawMaw and Papa who are always willing to give up what could be a very quiet and relaxing vacation to let all of us come to enjoy the beach and make it a whirlwind circus!!! :-)

Here is a video of Kylee and McKenna tackling the slides at the resort. Kylee is the 1st one down the slide with stripe bathing suit and light pink hat, then McKenna comes down after another little girl. McKenna is in the dark pink hat with polka dot bathing suit.

We don't have any pictures of our little fish in action besides the slide video/pictures! She was jumping from the side of the pool using only swimmies. She even jumped when we weren't ready and/or looking and seemed to enjoy her underwater experience. She was swimming at the end of the trip with no help from us except help of swimmies! Kylee and McKenna loved the water slide! It took them a few times to get comfortable, but by the last day they were wearing the slides out! Enjoy the pictures....

Happy Father's Day!!!

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the Father's and soon to be Father's out there! Hope you have had a wonderful day! We would like to wish all of our Father's a Happy Father's Day and thanks for being such wonderful parents and grandparents to Will, myself and our children (never had written OUR childREN before now)!!!!

Special thanks for Will for being an awesome, amazing and Godly Father/husband to us! Couldn't ask for a better man and WE LOVE YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!!

Made a little more progress on Kolton's room this week from last weeks pictures.

Also, this past week I go to find Kylee and she is in Kolton's room standing on top of my old computer we were waiting to pass on and this is what I see...Also check to see what is laying in the bassinet in the background of the picture!

Saturday evening Kylee gave Daddy his present. Her picture in her UVA cheerleading outfit. They came out PRECIOUS. If you have not seen them log into facebook and there is a post on my profile. Here Will is opening his gift. Kylee was so sweet.

On Sunday Paw Paw, GiGi and Nanny came to visit us. It was a great afternoon and it was fun capturing these pictures as always!!!

Shower for Baby Boy Kolton

This weekend we headed to Gastonia to visit Maw Maw & PaPa along with attending a wedding in Vale for a college friend and a baby shower for our little man!!! Here is Kylee on Saturday morning out shopping.

On Sunday afternoon we had a baby shower for Mr. Kolton given by KP. It was a very nice shower and this is her 3rd shower she has thrown for me (wedding shower, Kylee baby shower and now Kolton baby shower)!! So blessed and thankful to have her. He got lots of nice things and appreciate each and every person who came out and blessed us with their time, gifts and love!! Here are pictures from the shower yesterday!

 Still have a lot of work, but we are moving along. Pictures to still be hung and things to be put on walls, but we are getting there. Yes, he will be using a pink diaper genie for a few months, but it will just be in the corner...he will never know.....until he is picked on in pictures later in life! :-)

New ROOM & Birthday Parties

On Thursday evening Kylee moved into her NEW ROOM!!!! She is doing well with the adjustment! We still have her stuffed animal net to hang from her old room and her curtain to hang, but other than that it looks good!

On Saturday we had two special friends birthday parties. We first attended Addie's 2nd Birthday party! Addie's Mommy is Anna, which is one of my best friends and was my freshman college roomie!

Our 2nd birthday party on Saturday was for Tyler's 6th Birthday. Tyler is Mrs.Steph's (Kylee's sitter) son. If you remember the post from last year with the big water slide and pool...well this was it again. I didn't get to enjoy it this year to protect our lil man, but Kylee went down a few times. Will and the guys also enjoyed themselves!

  Sunday morning I noticed what I thought was a "scab" on the bottom of Kylee's foot from a cut! We try to not make too much of a big deal about those things because Kylee seems to make it a little more drama than it should be. So, we put a band aid on it, went to church, came home, take a nap, or try to! After we gave up on the nap I started looking at her foot closer and knew it was something more than a scab! This is what was pulled from Kylee's foot!

Needless to say, it wasn't a scab...how about a huge splinter! Soon as I popped it to get it out...pus was already coming from it. We always try to preach to Kylee to wear shoes outside, but yesterday while she was playing between the pool at the bottom of slide and the dirt...this is what happened. We will be wearing shoes at all times now outside unless in the pool!!! This wasn't fun to pull out of my baby's foot while Daddy held her down so I could get it out.
