"Preschool"

Well, today was the first day for Kylee to start "preschool". She has been at Mrs. Steph's everyday since she was 11 weeks old, but we made the transition today to "preschool" in order to prepare her for K next year. Eli (Steph's little boy) and Kylee have been best buds since she was 11 weeks old. Eli will be heading off to kindergarten this year and Kylee to preschool. Mrs. Steph is going to miss these two little love birds. It was very odd to just drop of Kolton this morning and to pick them up in 2 different places this afternoon. She was all smiles when I picked her up, had quite a few stories and had a wonderful day!!!

Ready to go in for her first day

Little Boy in Training

Kolton didn't know soon as Mommy got home from Peru he would be conquering 2 big tasks within a week. Well, Mommy thought they would be much harder, but Kolton has proven otherwise and conquered them both like a CHAMP!!!

Before I left for Peru I knew it was time for him to give up his paci at bedtime, but didn't want to take it from him until I was back and things were back to normal so Will and I had already talked and agreed the Friday after I got back from Peru, the paci was gone. We started talking to Kolton about it on Thursday evening. Friday night we laid him down and he was searching the whole bed for the paci. I just knew when we closed the door after giving kisses night night he would lose it, but boy was I wrong. We watched him on the video monitor as he continued to look for it for a minute or less then he proceeds to turn over and go straight to sleep! What a big boy...not even one tear. So proud of him.

On top of tackling the paci, Kolton had shown interest before I left to Peru of potty training, but we didn't really focus too much on it until I got back. Last week he did pretty good with staying dry in his diaper so Thursday and Friday evening we tried underwear and had quite a few accidents. By Saturday he had it mastered and we haven't had any pee accidents since Friday evening. We are still trying to master the poop in the potty skill, but he has done so great with pee pee!!! :-)

Look at my THOMAS UNDERWEAR!

Kolton will be 2 in less than 2 weeks...NO WAY!

HOME!

Yesterday afternoon our team arrived safe and sound home from Peru! It was an AMAZING trip where God was truly GLORIED in so many ways! Many stories and memories to share. I will be posting pictures on facebook soon, but here are a few once I arrived home. We all looked pretty rough and smelled pretty rough after over 24 hours of traveling, but so happy to be home with Will and the kids after 8 days without them.

Just landed in NYC getting ready to go through customs

Arrived at RDU at 2;25PM

Woke up to these beautiful faces this morning
