Santa Pic 2013

Friday evening we went to visit with Santa. We weren't sure how the visit would go for Kolton as last year he was the screamer. He was pretty nervous at first and pulled back. I thought we were going to have another screamer, however we sat and talked with Santa and he pulled it together for a quick shot. He quickly told Santa "bye."

Saturday evening we went to the Denton Christmas Train with the family. It was cold, but the rain stopped before we got there and we had a a great time!

Kylee drew this today on her own when we got home from church. She is really starting to understand more everyday on what Christmas is all about and we talk everyday on why we celebrate Christmas and what it is truly all about.

Friday night we had an evening with McKenna and Camden coming to play. Our original plan was to put Kolton to bed and let the others have a movie evening with popcorn upstairs, however Kolton was having too much fun to go to bed, so off we went upstairs to watch the Elf on the Shelf movie. Well, the Elf on the Shelf movie is only 22 minutes long...we were at least thinking 45 minutes. The kids ended up watching it 2x's and between all of us we finished off 3 bags of popcorn. :-) I believe the youngest....Kolton...had 4 bowls!

Happy 16th Birthday Sabrina!!

This weekend we celebrated Sabrina's 16th Birthday!!! Kylee and I went to celebrate with her on Saturday for an all day birthday event! We began the day at IHOP for breakfast, hopped in a limo to go pick out fingernail polish, then to a PRIVATE movie theater to watch the new One Direction Movie. After the movie we celebrated with lunch, presents and cake. Then, it wasn't over yet...the girls were then chauffeured to a SPA day close by! They were pampered in a hot tub along with facials, pedicure and manicures along with having their own special drinks, magazines, robes and towels! It was so special for Sabrina and so glad we were there to celebrate with her!!! We love you Sabrina and hope you had a wonderful birthday!!!
