Sweet 16 & Climbing

Kylee now has 16 TEETH!!!! WOW a mouthful! Next will be her 2 year molars! This weekend she discovered she can use that little bucket for a hat as well as to climb on the couch. Check out the videos below!!

Please pray for Will tomorrow as he goes back to the orthopedic about his shoulder. He has now been out of work for 5 weeks. We hope he is released to go back to work full duty tomorrow! He is probably going to to be going to physical therapy for strengthening, which I am really encouraging to get him back to normal the proper way without hurting himself more.

Kylee has been working on drinking from an open cup. Here is a video from her 1st night trying it out.

Happy Valentine's Day!!

Happy Valentine's Day!!!

We hope everyone has had a nice Valentine's Day! Maw Maw came to visit us on Thursday and Saturday. She had a meeting in Raleigh on Friday & Saturday so she kept Kylee for us last night so we could go to dinner and a movie for Valentine's Day! We went to see the movie THE BLIND SIDE...and it was GREAT! Thanks Maw Maw for coming to keep Kylee so Mommy & Daddy could have a nice evening out. Kylee enjoyed her time with Maw Maw and always loves all the attention! We haven't been to a movie since last November of 2008 so it was nice to be able to do that.

Will went back to the dr. last Monday for his shoulder re-check. He is now available for light duty, but can't lift or pull over 10lbs. His job will not allow him to come back on light duty...so he is out of work for another 3 weeks. Please keep him in your prayers for a full recovery and that he is able to go back in 3 weeks. His next Dr. appt is March 1st.

Check out Kylee's little curls after her bath. These only stay for a short period of time before falling out, but I am still trying to have hope for curly hair! She was giving her baby some love too while I was snapping these pics.

We got some snow on Friday evening/Saturday morning. It was very nice because it was here, didn't bother the roads and melted quickly. Kylee didn't get to enjoy the snow two weeks ago because of being sick, so we built us a snowman Saturday morning. It warmed up Saturday afternoon so his head had already fallen off by the time the sun set on Saturday evening. Kylee didn't really like to walk in the grass in the snow so she ran around on the sidewalk and played in her wagon. She was so cute going to the door saying "snow" but sounded like "no".

Kylee got a little Valentine from Mommy and Daddy. A valentine Mr. Potato Head and a Elmo Valentine book. She also got a few Valentine's from Ms. Steph, Tyler & Eli from the Valentine Party at their house on Thursday where she got some whistles, necklaces and bracelets. Well below is a video of what happened when the necklaces and Mr. Potato Head got together! It was too funny, she had some major bling bling going on!

Road to Recovery...

Well this past week has been spent getting Kylee well. We got snow/ice here last weekend when the whole pneumonia thing set in so Kylee didn't get to have any fun out in the snow & ice playing. She just got to watch from the window. We went for a recheck on Monday at the dr. and said she was doing great, just had to get the diarrhea under control, which finally is. She is still on one antibiotic, but these past few days we have barely had to wipe Kylee's nose (knock on wood) compared to the 100 nose wipes/day over the past two months!!!

Will goes back for a re-check tomorrow on his shoulder. He has been out of work for the past two weeks due to no use of his left arm. We will see what the Dr. says tomorrow and please pray for a good report so he can get back to work!

PRAYER REQUEST FOR US: We have had a lot go on the past few weeks with Will's shoulder, Kylee with pneumonia, my Camry in the Toyota recall, our 46" TV went out and just a few other things going on with the house. I know it could be 100x's worse just seems it all hits at once, but please lift us up in your prayers for wisdom and guidance in some of our upcoming decisions that we have to make. Everything is okay, we just want to let God lead us in our decisions together and not what we want!

Sorry no pictures this week I was slack! Paw Paw and GiGi came up again this past weekend. PawPaw is working hard on the heating and air system for our bonus room. So Kylee is thankful he is working on that for more room for more toys of hers upstairs!!!
