Up Up Up!!!

Kylee had a week of swimming lessons last week and boy did she put on a show!!! A fighting, threatening and crying show until the last day. The first day she did great with only a little cry. The second and third day there were quite a few cries and threats that she was going to "poopy" in her bathing suit. She even said at one point to Ms. Ann, the swimming teacher that "I am going to poopy in your pool!" Ms. Ann's response back was "You better not poop in my pool!" Very thankful that Kylee never did and she just wanted out of her swimming lessons. She also got a talk when we got in the car about saying things like that, etc. Needless to say on the last day Kylee was a FISH in the pool and all smiles. She was even jumping in the deep end and swimming to the steps! We also had a pool birthday party on Saturday and she did it for me too. Thanks Aunt Brooke for all the pictures!

We also have a little man who is pulling up like CRAZY and if you hold both of his arms he will walk with you....totally want to deny that he will walk with you (tear in my eye) because so not ready for him to walk!!! He also likes to give many kisses!!! Such a sweet boy!

LOVE THIS PICTURE!

And here is Mr. Mohawk 10 MONTH Man yesterday getting his belly full before the birthday pool party! He is getting so big! He knows how to say MaMa, DaDa, Bye Bye (as well as wave). He will put his hand to his ear as if he is talking on the phone. If we or Kylee takes something from him that he really wants he straightens his arm and legs to make them really stiff and yell at you...it is quite funny. He is on all table foods...yay! He drinking 3 bottles a day and rarely spits up anymore. This weekend I think he spit up 2x's all weekend compared to a month ago when he was spitting up 10-15x's a day! He takes 2 naps a day and goes to bed around 6:30-7:00 and will wake up around 7:30-7:45 if he gets to sleep in.

See some Daddy looks in this picture!

Virginia Visits

This weekend we headed to VA to visit some family and we had a great time. We stayed with Aunt Donna and Uncle Richard and had lots of fun times with them as well as cousins. Will's cousin, Alan has two little boys, Mac (6) and Robert Lee (almost 3 at the end of this month).

Friday morning before we headed to VA! (Notice: Kolton decked out in his UVA)

All the kiddos with Aunt Donna & Uncle Richard. Mac is in the orange and Robert Lee is in the blue.

Love all the baby gates in the background. :-) Lot of road blocks needed!
We also went and saw more "family", Mr. and Mrs. B.

Kolton enjoyed sitting with Mr. B

Kylee really enjoyed playing with Mrs. B and we ALL enjoyed her GREAT lunch!

Kolton had lost interest in the camera and was keeping track of Mommy running back and forth.
Had the camera propped on a phone book and it caught some yellow...sorry.

Kylee forgot to keep her eyes open.

We also went by to visit Grandpa & Grandma Skipper's grave before we left on Sunday with the kids. We love and miss them both and know they would have loved to have been able to spend time here on Earth with Kylee and Kolton.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY TO ALL THE FATHERS! A special Happy Father's Day to Will! You are an amazing Father and we could not ask for a better leader for our family. We love you so very much! Thank you for the Godly husband and Father that you are and living your life for the Lord.

Water Logged

Here is what we did this weekend for two days straight...

This was our small pool on Saturday
Part of our entertainment on Sunday...

Sunday we moved to the bigger pool and sprinkler since Kylee didn't want to leave Kolton's side in the pool!
Kolton LOVES being pushed in this car and LOVED being pushed through the sprinkler.
Still loving it....
I also ran Race for the Cure 5k in Raleigh on Saturday morning in honor of  my "Nanny" for breast cancer awareness!!!
Kolton's 9 month check on Tuesday was he weighed 21lbs, 12.5oz and 29.25" long. He is between the 80th and 85th percentile for height and weight. Being such a big boy and I don't want to have to say within the next week and half that I have a 10 month old. Can't be double digits already.

Busy Busy

Sorry for the no post last week. Had a day off and the whole week was off. We had a very busy weekend, but hope you enjoy all the pictures.

On Friday, Eli came over for a little while to play with Kylee after we got home. Thought this was too cute as they were in and out of the pool and riding around in the Barbie convertible.
Friday evening Lisa and Sabrina arrived for the weekend. Sabrina had her Special Olympics State Swim Meet this weekend. She swam on Saturday and Sunday and won her some medals. She did so well and we enjoyed watching every minute of her events. Kylee and Kolton also enjoyed special visitor time. Kylee had fun having Sabrina sleep with her in her bed and having Sabrina play with us Saturday afternoon and evening. *I tried and tried to post Sabrina's video of her swimming, but for some reason it will not load on here from my phone. *

She swatted at us because we were cheering her on and embarrasing her.

With our swimmer!

GO SABRINA!!!
CELEBRATE!!

All her medals and worn out from all the hardwork!
This was Kylee on Saturday afternoon. She had already been playing in the pool for quite some time so out came the sprinkler. I lift my head a few minutes later and this is what she has found and her way of playing until we went inside.
Kolton goes for his 9  month well check on Tuesday. He is pretty much on all table food now, except if we are out somewhere and he doesn't have much of a choice. He is into EVERYTHING and we think it is only a matter of days before he is pulled up and cruising furniture. Will have details next week on weight and height stats for little man!
