Friday night I went and spent a girls night with some college best friends and it was wonderful, relaxing and just a blessing! We didn't do anything, but sit around and talk about life, our children and how much the Lord is blessing us and working in our lives! It was great and so thankful for this time and for our husbands giving us this kidless night away. This picture was taken on Saturday afternoon as we sat out by Lake Norman. We were missing Vicki in the picture as she had to leave a little early.

Please continue to uplift my mom in prayer as tomorrow is her first day of 5 weeks of chemo and radiation treatments. All her cancer is contained to one area, but she has some rough days ahead. Please pray for strength, comfort as well as us along with her medical team treating her. We give God all the glory through this all as He guides her and us through this!
