Festivities

This past weekend Will's good friend from high school tied the knot. It was a BEAUTIFUL wedding and Will was a groomsman. It was on Friday evening so we headed down on Thursday morning and came back early Saturday morning.
Resort was also the ACC Kickoff weekend :)

While we were gone Maw Maw and PaPa came to help us out with the kiddos. Kylee had VBS this week at church, which she enjoyed! Thanks so much Maw Maw and PaPa for helping us out.

On Saturday evening, I along with 5 others from church will leave for our mission trip to Viraco, Peru. We will fly all night and arrive the following morning in Arequipa, Peru. We will then travel by bus for 6 hours to Viraco. Please lift our team up in your prayers as we go to share the gospel of Jesus Christ. Please pray as we minister to the children and people of Peru that His love and grace will shine through us as we will be minstering for 5 days. I am so very EXCITED, however anxious at the same time. I have never left Will or the children for this long so please lift them up in prayer as well. Maw Maw and PaPa are coming on Tuesday and will be here until I return on Sunday, August 4th to be a helping hand to Will. Can't wait to share pictures when I return. I may attempt to post some pics on Saturday before I leave, but if that does not happen stay tuned for a post on August 4th or maybe 5th ;-)

Happy 4th

Hope everyone had a Happy 4th of July! The kids enjoyed the festivities and were worn out. Kolton wasn't feeling too much on the pictures Thursday morning so we only captured one of the 3 cousins.

Kolton had his 2nd haircut on Thursday. It had gotten quite long and he now has the hair out of his eyes. :-) I can't let it get that long again. Poor guy couldn't see for his hair in his eyes.
I CAN SEE without looking through hair

Kolton is finding out he doesn't fit inside of these cubes anymore like he use to, but he did enjoy the few minutes with Daddy being picked up and carried around in it.

Attacks

Both kids have found a LOVE for squirt bottles, also a wonderful fine motor activity to address all types of hand skills in this Mommy's OT book!!!  Last week after we got home one afternoon we had only one squirt bottle available, but we quickly found a 2nd for them both to have their own. It turned into a squirt bottle spray fest and war between both kiddos and then attacking Mommy and Daddy. Daddy was mowing grass and I am sure enjoyed the few cool squirts. Mommy not so much!
