We had Grandma & Grandpa come to visit us this weekend! Grandma JJ also was here on Friday. We had a great time together. This was Sunday afternoon before they left us. I guess we could have choosen a better background than the junky garage, but oh well still 2 great pictures!

This was a proud moment for Kylee today as you will be able to tell in each picture!

I love how in every one of those pictures she is grinning from ear to ear or looking at him to make sure he is okay and enjoying his first BARBIE car ride! As you see Kolton was looking down in almost every picture because he was focused on reaching down in the floor board of the car to get the rocks. He also I think got a little whip lash from the starting and stopping of Sissy's driving!

We went for a walk this afternoon and I thought this was a good picture of Will and Kylee looking at the pond for fish.

Kolton will be 7 months on Wednesday!!!! He is one little happy man and has pretty much mastered sitting up. He has gotten the hang of a sippy cup, but just wants to be lazy and not hold it himself! (what a MAN!!) He still likes to gag on thick baby foods at times or especially anything with a little bit of texture in it.They now make a baby food that is considered stage 2.5, which introduces a little bit of texture. I mistakenly gave this to him the other week and it did not go over so well. Needless to say, we had lots of gagging and only made it through half the jar. We are hopefully going to start working on that in the next month. He is such a good sleeper. He goes to bed around 7:00 and wakes up around 6-6:30. Sometimes he will go back to sleep, other times he has decided he is good to go for the morning and ready to get up and play (AKA Saturday mornings when others can sleep in). Most days he is taking 3 naps a day for about 45 minutes, sometimes 4 naps if he decided to be awake at 6AM.

Soccer Girl

Kylee had her first soccer game this weekend with Coach "Aunt Brooke". We feel Kylee did well and she held in there with lots of encouragement to stay after the ball and not to be shy! Her first game was Satruday morning at 9:00 and it was a little chilly. Maw Maw and Papa were also here to see the girls play.

Welcome Baby Braxton!

Kolton has a new friend!!! His name is Braxton. Kolton and I went to meet baby Braxton today and to visit with the new Mommy & Daddy. Braxton was born a week ago this past Friday to one of my very best friends, Candace. Braxton and Kolton look so different in size now, but just give them a few years and I am sure they will be best buds when they get to play together. :-) It is so hard to see now, but Kolton was actually smaller than Braxton 6 months ago. My oh my, how they grow so FAST!

Kolton went for his 6 month well check on Thursday. He weighed in at 18lbs 12oz and 27.5" long. He is longer than Kylee was at this time, but about a pound lighter. He got 3 shots :-(, but checked out well. We think Kolton is going to be on the move a lot sooner than Kylee was. He is rolling EVERYWHERE and already trying to be into everything he can reach and grab.
