HOME SWEET HOME

Last week a blog was not posted because we were on a wonderful vacation to Gatlinburg, TN! I thought we would have internet, but ended up not having it due to it costing extra so it was good for us to get away from the computer for a week. Also, a week ago this past Thursday as most of you know I decided to chop off 7 inches of my hair. I have been wanting to do this for a long time but didn't have the courage to do it, but I finally did and I LOVE IT!

On Friday on the way to Gatliburg we stopped in Asheville to visit with Forest, Anna & Addie. It was a great, but short visit. On Saturday we dressed the girls up in their Halloween outfits and took some pictures. Kylee did not want to cooperate so Mommy had to sit with her to pose!

We had an AWESOME week and it was beautiful!!! We relaxed, shopped and ate tons!!! We also went to the aquarium in Gatlinburg and Cades Cove. We saw three bear while we were in TN, I posted one of the pictures of the bear, hope you can see him or her (in the middle of the brush & woods pic)! When Will and I went on our honeymoon we didn't see any, but saw THREE this time!! Hope you enjoy all the pictures. Back to the working world tomorrow and I think Kylee was happy to get home to her own bed...I know Mommy and Daddy were!!!!

Kylee is still trying to walk, but has yet to master it. She takes anywhere from 3-5 steps at a time and then just plops and reverts back to crawling. Her bottom right molar finally has decided to make its appearance after trying for a month now!! Now the bottom left looks like it is starting to pop up, but it may decide to take its precious time too. The last picture is her in her Halloween dress this morning before church.

Steps

Well Grandpa & Grandma Goins left us on Monday afternoon. It was a nice visit with them and so glad they are back home and not across the US! They are now going to the mountains of VA hunting until the first of December so we are looking forward to them coming back home for the Christmas holidays and seeing them more!!!!

Kylee is beginning to take small steps when she really wants something, but doesn't realize she has taken a step. Soon as she does "PLOP" right back to the floor and back to crawling. She did take two steps for Tyler (Stephanie, who she stays with her little boy who is 4), but will not do it again or for anyone else. She has a huge security with her hand on something or you holding her hand. Soon as that security is gone, she thinks she can't walk anymore. Oh well, she will figure it out soon enough! She now has 4 top teeth and 4 bottom teeth. The one bottom molar has still yet to break through, but I keep thinking it is still any day now.

McKenna (who will be a BIG SISTER in only a little over a month to a baby BROTHER..YIPPEEE) came and spent Saturday afternoon and evening with us while her Mommy and Daddy went to the State game! Kylee and her had a great time playing together. McKenna enjoyed riding on the Disney car while Kylee pushed her all around the house! It was sooo cute!!!!

We leave Friday for a week long vacation in Gatlinburg TN, where Will and I honeymooned(we will be married two years on 10/20) two years ago!!! This time though will be a little different, but WONDERFUL with our precious little girl!!!! We are stopping in Asheville on Friday night to spend the night with Forest, Anna and their little girl Addie! We are super excited!

Grandparents & 1st Hair Cut

Loves to pull towels out of the drawer!!! She is sooo funny pulling them out. It is just like she is pulling and throwing over her shoulder and digging for more! Kylee's favorite food is bananas, mandarin oranges, tomatoes and green beans!!! Her least favorite food is mac & cheese, well at least at home. She won't eat it here, but will eat it for Ms. Steph. Below is a video of Kylee getting a banana. I wish we would have had the camera rolling on the first part of the banana because it was sooo cute. When we got it out to tape this part she didn't do it as good, but she still got excited!

Grandpa and Grandma Goins finally made it home from their 8 month trip around the U.S. so they came up on Thursday to visit for the weekend until Monday!!! It was so great spending the weekend together and for us and Kylee to spend some good time with them! They will be leaving us tomorrow, but we really had a great weekend. They also brought Onyx the cat and we enjoyed his company as well!!! He enjoyed playing with one of Kylee's Easter eggs while Kylee got her haircut!

Kylee also got her first hair cut on Saturday evening! Just a little trim of the bangs because they were down in her eyes!! She really wasn't too fond of this activity, but we got it done!

Kylee also got to ride on the 4 wheeler for the first time today! She always gets so excited when she hears it crank up. She got a little scared when she sat on it, but was okay riding with Daddy!
