For those of you who do not know by now....last week I mentioned Kylee had been having fevers that were being blamed on the vaccine! Well, Monday evening she broke out in a rash/bumps in the creases of her arms and over her torso!!! Still thought it was from the vaccines!! Tuesday it was everywhere! Hands, feet, face, legs, arms, torso, neck, etc...It was beginning to look like chicken pox so I left work at lunch to go pick her up from Stephanie's until we talked to the doctor. She was also very very CRANKY, no pee peeing, swollen eyes and just looked horrible. So I called the dr. Kylee had not pee peed on Tuesday all morning. When I called the Dr. they said to bring her in at 4:15, but they were going to call back at 1:30 (talked to dr. at 12:00) to see if she had urinated, if not she was coming in immediately. Well, Kylee finally urinated at 2:00 and they called back to check on her at 2:15. So we went to the dr. at 4:15 and found out it WAS NOT the vaccines and was ROSEOLA. Roseola is a herpes skin virus, which is not an uncommon skin virus in young children mostly around 6 months - 18 months . Kylee most likely got it at the dr. office when we went for her well check and vaccines because it is contagious during the febrile stage of the virus. It fell in the perfect timeline for the vaccine reaction that is why it was blamed on that until the bumps broke out. Once the bumps appeared though she was no longer contagious and on her way to recovery. There was nothing the doctor could have done for her since it was just a virus. By Friday Kylee began to look a little better and began acting like her normal smiley, happy self!!! Below are a few pictures from the roseola, but pictures don't really do it justice and hard to see compared to seeing her in person, but gives you an idea.
This weekend we pretty much just relaxed and recovered from the Roseola episode, or Kylee did with lots of sleeping. She slept from 5-7 on Friday evening, woke up to eat dinner and slept from 8:15 PM until 1o:00 Saturday morning! Saturday we just hung out at home and took some videos. Here are a few videos from Saturday morning with Kylee finding Daddy, saying "hey" and practice pushing toys in her new Minnie mouse PJ's from Sabrina. The second video is sideways..sorry didn't realize I did that until I watched it. (FYI: In the first video Kylee goes to find Daddy, well Daddy is on the porch doing gun cleaning...there is a gun laying on the porch floor in an open case, but it is DISASSEMBLED and UNLOADED, PLUS Kylee was not allowed to get near it....Just wanted to let everyone know that disclaimer before someone got their "panties in a wad" when seeing it. This gun is stored in our gun safe secure and locked, but was just out for gun cleaning. Didn't realize it made it on the video...sorry, but just really like the video because she says "hey" and goes to find Daddy...she knew where he was she just wanted me to open the door!!!).
So the blog is a day late because Sunday evening we were invited to the Underwood's for a cookout along with the Bible's (these are families from our church). We had a WONDERFUL time! We grilled out, jumped on the trampoline (which Kylee only liked when she was held), ate lots, had dessert then decided to play the game "Quelf." It was a blast...Jason said it would ONLY take ONE HOUR because we had to get back home and get Kylee to bed. Well at 10:00...almost TWO HOURS later Sunday night we finally left the Underwood's. Most of you know Kylee's bedtime is between 6:30-7:30 and we are pretty strict on this. Last night Kylee went to bed at 10:30!!! Although, we got a little off schedule last night, the game "Quelf" is a BLAST!!!! We are going to have to invest in this game! We had so much fun and here are a few pictures from the occasion, although they may look pretty stupid it was a great time!
Me and Kylee jumping on the trampoline!

Kylee, Love the PJ's. Sabrina showed me your videos first thing when I came home from work today. Tell Mommie and Daddy "Hi from Hickory."
