1 month and Big Sissy

Wow what a quick month it has been! Kolton is now officially 1 month old! He can roll from belly to back, coos and loves to EAT! We have some smiles, but nothing intentional yet...can't wait for these. Hopefully we will have those in the next few weeks! He can give some great faces as pictured below this paragraph.  He is going to bed around 8:30 -9:00 at night. He wakes up anywhere between 1:30-2:30 to eat and then back up to eat again at between 5:30 & 6:00. He is always great about going back to sleep after he eats. He is usually up around 8:30! He is a great baby and he has a great big sister to always help out! Kolton went on Thursday for his 1 month check up. He was 9lbs 13.5 oz and 22 1/4" long! He is 75th percentile for height and 50th percentile for weight.

Finally on Wednesday his umblical cord stump did fall off, but when it fell over a little tissue has been left over. On Thursday his Dr. used some sodium nitrate to try to get rid of the excess tissue. On Friday a little of that fell off, but we still have some there. I am going to give it another few days and if does not look any better call the dr. back. It isn't getting infected or anything, but just looks odd because of the extra tissue their isn't an acutal belly button as you can see below. The extra brown around his belly is from the sodium nitrate.
